Warp7Launcher is a simple program that forces the Finder to quit and allows you to launch other programs. By forcing the Finder to quit you may use it's vacated memory partitian to run other programs, provided you have a file launching program such as Warp7Launcher already running. Warp7Launcher needs at least 24K of memory to run, so if memory is very tight check to see if you have enough by selecting "About This Macintosh" in the Finder. Your "largest unused block" should be at least 24K.
Warp7Finder does four things:
1. When launched, Warp7Launcher sends a 'quit' Apple Event to the Finder forcing it to
quit.
2. Warp7Launcher allows you to launch programs from a standard "Open" dialog box. You
can also launch the Finder when you need it again.
3. There is a shutdown command.
4. There is a restart command.
All of the above are selected from the menu.
The best way to use Warp7Launcher is to place an alias of it in the Apple Menu. You may then select any time you need to quit the Finder to launch another program.
